# Search LinkedIn Companies

> Find a company's LinkedIn page by name, before registering it as a competitor

Search LinkedIn company pages by name. This is the picker behind adding a competitor: pick a
hit and pass its `id` as `linkedin_numeric_id` and its `universalName` as
`linkedin_vanity_name` to [Register Competitor](https://docs.clustr-ai.com/api-reference/register-competitor.md), so the
right page is monitored from the first scan.

>
> Results are cached for a day and requests are rate-limited per workspace (`429` when you
> go over). `q` needs at least 3 characters.
