# Remove Competitor Team Member

> Stop watching one person at a competitor and free their slot

Remove one person from a competitor's Team. Their status becomes `removed`, their slot is freed and
collection of their activity stops. Their past interactions stay visible everywhere, and team
searches leave them out. To restore them, [add their profile](https://docs.clustr-ai.com/api-reference/add-competitor-team-member.md)
again, or set their status to `monitored` with
[Update Competitor Team Member](https://docs.clustr-ai.com/api-reference/update-competitor-team-member.md).
